Der Hundertjährige Kalender ist ein aus niedergeschriebenen Beobachtungen des Wetters zusammengestelltes Werk aus den Jahren 1652 bis 1658. In dieser Zeit beobachtete der Abt Mauritius Knauer tagtäglich das Wetter und schrieb es nieder. Der Abt errechnete nach der Planetentafel von 1600 bis 1912 das Wetter auf die für ihn folgenden 100 Jahre - also für die Zeit 1701 bis 1800. Dieser Kalender wurde 1704 zum ersten mal gedruckt und erhielt in der Auflage von 1720 den Titel 100-jähriger Kalender. 1860 wurde der Kalender bereits in der 180. Auflage gedruckt und verbreitet. Die Vorhersagen des Hundertjährigen Kalender wurde auch in unserer Zeit weitergeführt und so unglaublich es ist, sie treffen immer noch zu.
